Newborn Photographer in London

The first two weeks pass in a blur of feeds and falling in love. A newborn session quietly holds onto them — the curl of a hand, the impossible smallness, the look on your face when you finally sit still.
Calm, at-home newborn photography
I'm a newborn photographer in Barnes, photographing families across Richmond, Wandsworth, Chiswick, Putney, Notting Hill, Kensington and Chelsea, and throughout London. I come to you — no packing a days-old baby into the car. We work around feeds and naps, at your pace, in your own home. Nothing about it is rushed.
My style is gentle and natural rather than heavily posed: soft light, simple wraps, real moments between you and your baby. I'm quiet, patient, and used to long pauses for feeding and settling — it's all part of the session, never something to apologise for.
You don't need to prepare a thing. A warm room and somewhere with good natural light is all it takes; I bring the rest. If there's an older sibling, we'll fold them in early so they feel part of it rather than shooed away. The aim is photographs that feel like your first days at home actually felt — soft, close, and quietly overwhelming in the best way.
When to book your newborn session
For those soft, sleepy newborn portraits, the best time is within the first 7 to 21 days, while babies still sleep deeply and settle easily. I don't pose or swaddle into set positions; the goal is capturing them as they naturally are. Because timing is tight, the surest way is to book during pregnancy (a maternity session is a lovely way to do both), and I'll pencil you in around your due date. Slightly older babies are welcome too — relaxed lifestyle newborn sessions work well up to around six weeks.
