Somewhere between the last of the baby days and the first real flashes of personality, there's a version of your child that won't stay still for long. These are the photographs that hold onto exactly who they are right now.

Relaxed baby and children photography across London

I'm a baby and children photographer based in Barnes, working with families across Richmond upon Thames, Wandsworth, Chiswick, Putney, Wimbledon, Notting Hill, Kensington and Chelsea, and the rest of London. I come to you — at home, in a favourite park, or wherever your child feels comfortable enough to be themselves.

There's no forced posing here. I follow your child's pace — playing, exploring, taking breaks when needed — and photograph the moments that happen in between. Some of the best images come when a child forgets the camera is there at all.

Siblings and parents are always welcome in the session, not just the youngest one. A little direction goes a long way, but most of the session is about giving your child room to be exactly as they are that day — giggly, shy, stubborn, or all three within the hour.

The best age for a baby and children session

Sessions work well from around 6 months right through to 12 years old — whatever stage your child is at, there's something worth capturing in it. Many families book around a milestone: a first sit-up, starting school, or simply because it's been too long since the last proper photos. If you're not sure it's the "right" time, it almost always is.
